Peach Coffee Cake

My late mother in law used to make this, love it, brings back good memories!

Batter:

3/4 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 pkg (8 oz) sour cream

2 1/2 cup flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

Dash nutmeg

1 tsp vanilla

Cream butter, sugar and eggs, Beat in sour cream. Add flour salt, baking soda, nutmeg and vanilla.

Put half the batter in a 9 x 13 inch pan. top with pie filling. then top with the remaining batter.

Filling:

1 can peach pie filling

Topping:

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 cup sugar

172 - 1 cup of nuts.

Mix cinnamon and sugar, ang sprinkle on cake. Sprinkle nuts on top of that.

Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit, for 35 minutes.
